Access information

Village Hall: slight ramp, wide doors, wheelchair accessible with w/a toilet. Induction loop. Festival Marquees: wheelchair accessible over grass and small ridge at door. Village Hall/Festival Marquee parking: two parking spaces for
badge holders. WI Hall: slight ramp, wide doors, wheelchair accessible plus w/a toilet. Methodist Hall: steepish ramp, wide
doors, wheelchair accessible plus w/a toilet with limited turning, induction loop. The Bookcase: wheelchair accessible over small step. St Mary’s Church: wheelchair access plus w/a toilet, induction loop – car park is 100 yards from entrance. Old Ship Inn: access changes in hand but
currently poor with unavoidable steps - ring 0115 9663049 for details.

 

Travel information

Lowdham is off the A6097 (Bingham to Doncaster) and A612 (Nottingham to Southwell) between Nottingham and Newark. Lowdham railway station is a brisk ten minute walk from the main Festival site. Pathfinder 100 and Veolia buses drop off on Main Street. St Mary’s Church is on Church Lane off Lambley Lane.

There is car parking at the Village Hall and on and off Main Street. There is limited car parking at the Methodist Chapel and the WI Hall and opposite the library on Franklin Road. There is a car park at St Mary’s Church.

Note: car parking fills up quickly at popular events and on the last Saturday – please allow time to park. Watch out for notices about overflow car parking. Please do not park in spaces reserved for disabled people unless your vehicle carries the appropriate badge.
